The first step in the design phase is to define the relationship between the builder and client. We accomplish this by presenting to you a list of professional services offered and a list of optional services that can be provided upon request. After a Professional Services Agreement has been signed and deposit received we are ready to move forward with a wants/needs analysis to outline your specifications. Whether you begin from scratch, have a basic plan in mind or know exactly what you want in your new home, our wants/needs analysis will define your dream home down to the last detail. The Design, Amenity and Specification Sheet is used to set design criteria for our architects, interior designers, suppliers and contractors. After a Design, Amenity and Specification Sheet is completed you are ready to begin working with an architect. The architect will use the information provided to develop a preliminary set of plans to be reviewed by the client and Barnett/West Custom Homes. After a set of preliminary plans is signed off by the Client, the architect will produce bid sets or final plans. At this point Barnett/West Custom Homes is ready to submit a quote or estimate based on your specific amenity, specification and plan requirements. |
